Moor Funds, as part of its Open Path Project initiative to create tangible opportunities in institutional finance for Business and STEM graduates from underrepresented groups, hosted a small group of students from The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania) and Columbia University at Morgan Stanley's New York offices. The two student groups met with Managing Directors from Morgan Stanley's Institutional Equities Division.
Edwin Hagan-Emmin, CIO at Moor Funds, commented; "we created an opportunity for some of the strongest Business and STEM students in the country to engage one-on-one with senior institutional finance executives about a range of topics including how the culture in institutional finance has evolved toward an environment where the best STEM graduates, irrespective of gender or background, can genuinely contribute, develop and get compensated."
